For over 25 years, The Glass Bubble Project has been a premier Cleveland glassblowing studio. Located in historic Ohio City, we offer beauty, Morty the Rooster, and a unique hands-on experience of art and community.
Our mission is to make glassblowing accessible to everyone regardless of experience or demographics. We’re a fun-loving, purpose-driven group of glass artists that thrive on old school methods and great service. Our customers are our family. Come, join us.
The gallery is open all year and is free during regular hours. Feel free to come in, check out all of the beautiful glass, watch the artists work, hang with Morty, and ask questions. We’re friendly.
We’re open 10-6 everyday, but closed on Tuesday.
Classes are taught six days a week to ages 5+, reservation is required.
Workshops must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Private classes require a deposit, which is refundable up to one week before scheduled class.

GLASSBLOWING CLASSES
Our instructors provide hands-on instruction and guidance throughout the entire process to your level of comfortability.
During your experience you'll learn the basics of glassblowing, studio safety, and the use of all the primary tools.
We'll be your guide on the unique journey into the art of glassblowing. We encourage questions and creativity. Just be yourself and have a great time.

Other Classes
We offer additional art classes outside of glassblowing. During your workshop, our skilled and talented instructors will inspire and teach various mediums and methods. We even have a satellite location on Fulton Road in Ohio City where our metal work projects and classes are held.
Welding & Sculpture Class
Class runs 3 hrs, each additional 1/2 hr is $25- Learn the basics of MIG welding
- Learn Plasma cutting + sandblasting
- Make sculpture art, garden art, etc.
- Get creative!
Windchime/Suncatcher Class
Class runs 3 hrs, each additional 1/2 hr is $25- Work with Lake Erie driftwood + scrap glass
- Learn wiring techniques
- Cut, grind + drill
- Create art!

Everyone was warm and welcoming and Cindy our teacher was fun and engaging. I would highly recommend everyone to take a class or at least swing in for the good vibes and a little shopping. A super cool spot in Cleveland!

Ben Becker09/05/2022This was a lot of fun, and very interesting. The proprietors are super friendly and eager to talk about their craft. They encourage people to just drop in and watch, or for a very reasonable fee you can learn a little and make some glass pieces. Be aware that the pieces you do make have to cool down for the better part of the day, so you will have to return to pick them up. Highly recommended.
